Visit: Lake Tahoe & Reno

The drive from San Francisco to Lake Tahoe/Reno doesn't compare to the natural beauty you see driving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, but still it is a nice a one.

The first stop was Lake Tahoe, where summer ensued; beach, bumming and kayaking.

Leaving Tahoe and on our way to Reno to gamble, we stopped at one of my favorite fast food joints, In-and-Out Burger. I never had the Animal Fries before so now was the time to try them. Sadly I was not too fond and will stick to the plain kind next time, but as always, the burger was on point and I was able to order at my requested temperature (which most FF won't let you do).

In Reno, we stayed at Atlantis which is a ways away from heart of the action of Reno, but still a nice hotel and casino that offers everything one could need allowing it to stand on its own away from the city lights.

Gambling (winning and mostly losing) in Reno was fun, but don't ever make a trip here unless you happen to be in the area; it definitely does not compare to Vegas.
