The restaurant has more of a focus on wine than on the food but despite that, the food still shines. Food is served tapas styles representing different parts of the world.

They have a large selection of beer and Whiskey which is amazing. The burgers were also surprisingly good considering they do not seem to specialized in or put too much focus on the food. The problem lied in the fact that service was not very good and the place was not even packed.

My Top 10 Meals Of 2014

10) Wakin’ Bakin’ - New Orleans, LA

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and this fresh, delicious and homemade meal made my day.

9) Fins & Things Caribbean Seafood Bar & Grill - Sunrise, FL

Caribbean and seafood, these are two of my favorite things!

8) Swine Southern Table & Bar - Coral Gables, FL

A salad shouldn't be anyone's favorite meal, but cornbread as croutons made it delish. Plus it was a great start to an even better meal.

7) SAIA Sushi Asian Grill - Fort Lauderdale, FL

Sushi is everywhere; some good, some bad. However, it is hardly ever memorable and this was.

6) Pincho Factory - Coral Gables, FL

A tasty twist on the original burger. Plus a shout out to my South Florida roots.

5) Machiya - Miami, FL

Ramen became a craze, just like cronuts and many others but this right here surpasses the frenzy.

4) Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill - Miami, FL

Happiest hour! Drink are fresh and the food is spectacular.

3) Yardbird Southern Table & Bar Restaurant - Miami Beach, FL

Miami Beach is for tourists, but food like the Old School easily becomes a favorite even among locals.

2) LP Steamers - Baltimore, MD

I am in love with seafood (the true reason I could never be vegetarian, plus the fact that I love bacon). I wish I had some of these right now.

1) Gott's Roadside - Napa Valley, CA

Simple but so so good! I could eat these Ahi Poke Crispy Tacos everyday for the rest of my life.

Visit San Antonio Texas: Boudro's On the River Walk, The River’s Edge Café, Rita’s on the River & Blue Box Bar

By midday we got on the road and by the time we reached San Antonio, surprisingly I was not hungry so we did some sightseeing and shopping at the Market Square and checked into the hotel (Hilton Palacio Del Rio).

Eventually, we ending up at the Riverwalk for the evening.

There was a long wait (over an hour without reservations) but finally by 9pm, we were able to sit down at Boudro's for dinner and even more Mexican food.

Stuffed from dinner, we headed back to the hotel for the night.

The next morning all I wanted to do was eat (and it didn’t matter where), so we ended up having breakfast at the hotel restaurant, The River’s Edge Café. Hotel food can be overpriced and mediocre but the food here really wasn't that bad.

After breakfast we walked to the Alamo and La Vilita to check it out.

After that we decided to pay the river taxi for the day and just take it up and down the river.

The river taxi is awesome and reasonably priced but it was hot as hell and after a few hours, we were hungry and decided to have an early dinner at Rita’s on the River. It was not very good, touristy as hell, but the Margarita’s helped me not think about it.

After dinner we took the taxi down to Pearl Brewery to have drinks at Blue Box Bar. This was by far the best bar I have been to and the best drinks I have had (or I was drunk enough to at least think so). The bartender was awesome (from Brooklyn) and introduced me to an Army Navy, my new favorite drink. He craft some equally fabulous drinks as well and all were reasonable priced.
