Product Review: Adovia Sulfur Soap for Acne, Blackheads and Oily Skin with Dead Sea Salt - 100% Natural

My first like for this soap was that it had virtually no scent which is great for me since I have fragrance allergies. As far as its ability to combat acne and pimples, well I'm not so sure, since that was not a problem I had in the first place, but I also did not develop any acne, pimples, rashes, etc. as a result of using this soap.

This soap gets a good lather without using up much of the soap so it will last a longer time. It did not overdry my skin but I would not recommend it as a moisturizing soap either. It is definitely not a bad product.

Product Review: InstaNatural's Argan Oil Hair Mask

After just one use my hair was noticeably softer, shinier and manageable and I have really coarse hair. This is a good product and does help to control (but not totally eliminate) frizz. Not only that, but it smells really nice. Overall it is a good product and easy to use.

Product Review: InstaNatural's Deep Cleansing Facial Oil

I fry my bacon oil and I guess, I use oil to lotion my skin as well, but I never thought of oil to cleanse my face. Although I found this product to be efficient at removing makeup, since I do not wear makeup up everyday, I would not use it was a daily cleanser. It is however very efficient as a toner to remove dirt, impurities, makeup and hard to remove mascara. It even does it without stripping your skin of its moisture and smells pretty good too.

Product Review: Andovia's Natural Daily Moisturizer Cream

Before saying anything else about this product, just know that this is another fabulous  product from the Adovia skincare line. Most creams are very heavy that on the days that I wear makeup, my makeup feels like it is melting off my face by mid day and even on the days I don't, in this Miami heat, I feel like my face is greaseball by noon. However, with Andovia's Natural Daily Moisturizer Cream it is just so light and creamy on my skin. I am so happy to finally have found a moisturizer for my face that provides a great primer for my makeup.

Product Review: Cleopatra's Choice 100% Organic Pure Ivory Shea Butter

Shea Butter is a great alternative to argan oil if you do not want that shiny residue you get from putting oil on your skin. That said, it can be a bit difficult to use and does leave a smell when you don't doctor it up (although personally I use it in its natural state), but if you want it be more like a lotion, here is what you can do:

1. Empty the contents of the plastic container into your stand mixer.
2. Starting at a low speed mix the contents (gradually increase the speed).
3. At this point you can add any essential oil for scent or another oil like argan for additional moisturizing power.
4. In the end, you will have a smooth butter that is much easier to apply.

Product Review: Adovia's Exfoliating Facial Sea Salts

At this point, I am a super fan of Andovia's deep sea products. In my experience, their products work quite well so adding the Exfoliating Facial Sea Salts to my face cleansing routine was welcomed. I have slightly sensitive skin so I tend to avoid using scrubs because  most are strong for acne or made with artificial ingredients and fragrances (which I have allergies to). With Adovia's Exfoliating Facial Sea Salts I can just add it to my regular cleanser and use as a scrub. I also like that I can use it for other uses as well like on my hands or feet.

Product Review: InstaNatural's Argan Oil Hair Treatment & Elixir

InstaNatural's Argan Oil Hair Treatment & Elixir is not made of 100% Argan Oil, but the combination of oils including coconut oil, olive oil  and jojoba oil, do a great job of making my hair feel soft and silky. You can use it as a leave in conditioner or as a heat and damage protectant, but I find the best use for is as a hot oil treatment. Hot oil treatments are excellent for giving dry, dull hair a deep conditioning and helping to prevent future damage.

The process is simple. First, apply the oil to the hair, then put a plastic cap on the hair and sit under the dryer for a few minutes to help it retain heat, and last but not least, rinse and style.

Product Review: Andovia's Facial Lift and Firm Serum with Dead Sea

I have not reached the age where I need anti-wrinkle products, but I have definitely reached the age where it is time to take preventative measures. Regardless of age, if you throw in the Miami heat that my skin experience on a daily basis, it is important to find good products that give your skin hydration and anti aging protection.

Andovia's Facial Lift and Firm Serum with Dead Sea feel great on the skin and leaves my skin feeling soft. I really like Andovia's products and hopefully with daily use, I will be saving myself a trip to the plastic surgeon 30 years down the line.

Product Review: Adovia's Mineral Eye Gel

I wake up early, go to be late, but that's what happens when you are a crazy person like me that like to commit to 100 things at one time. With that said, in the mornings, despite my natural appearance, I want to look youthful and refreshed. This gel helps to reduces the puffiness, I hopefully look like I had 10 hours of sleep, and its win, win for me.

Product Review: Andovia's Dead Sea Salt Soap

This soap has a nice subtle scent that is perfect for those with perfume allergies like myself. The soap further impressed me by giving a nice lather, great body wash, and to top that off without leaving a residue or drying out my skin. Texture wise it is a harder soap which makes it last longer and not melt in the shower like some others.

For me, Andovia's Dead Sea Salt Soap gives me the essence of having a salt scrub, but without the mess!

Product Review: Nail Cones

I am not into fancy, long fake nails. I like my nails short and manageable and to make them look pretty, a simple polish suffices. However, with short nails applying nail polish (especially when I am doing it myself), it can get everywhere and then it become a two step process of applying and  removing the excess which can be time consuming (and the point was to keep it simple).

I had been doing that process for many, many years but a few weeks ago I was introduced to Nail Cones. I may not be able to eat it, but they look like little Ice Cream Cones so the foodie I am, I was definitely interested. I thought what a delicious way to apply nail polish!

Nail Cones are an easy to use product that protects your skin when you apply nail polish. All you have to do is take the sticker off and put it under your nail and around it, paint you nails as crazy as you want and when you remove the sticker, you will have nicely painted nails.

Each package comes with 4 sheets for a total of 60 Nail Cones!

Product Review: Pure & Essential Minerals' Organic Dead Sea Mud Facial Mask

I've never had a mud mask that makes my face feel so sleek, fresh and cleansed like the this mask.

The process is simple, just leave it on to dry for 10 minutes to allow full absorption of Dead Sea Minerals and extraction of any impurities. I love the tingling sensation of the mask doing its job!

It was obviously easy to apply, but after an easier than expected removal, it left my skin feeling silky smooth like a baby's bottom and me feeling refreshed. This product is a great purchase.
